Urgent 【2.26 release updated】Ticket Refund Method due to Temporary Closure from February 25th to April 28th, 2020

As announced on March 13th, the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, is closed temporarily from Tuesday, February 25th to Tuesday, April 28th,2020.
A full refund will be offered to those holding February, March and April ticket reservations. Please see the REFUND METHOD below for more details.

Refund Method

  • Only reserved tickets dated January 22nd ~ April 30th, 2020 are eligible for a refund.
  • Unused tickets must be presented for refund. Please understand that it may take some time to confirm the purchase and process the refund transaction.
  • We will only offer a full refund and not a replacement booking as announced previously on January 29th.
Coupons purchased through JTB Group Overseas
REFUND PERIOD 1
February 26th ～ March 27th, 2020 (Tickets reserved for February 26th ~ March 30th)
REFUND PERIOD 2
March 15th ～ April 24th, 2020 (Tickets reserved for April 1st ~ April 30th)
Please contact the travel agent who issued the coupons. All refund transactions must be completed by the travel agent's end of business day in the local time of each REFUND PERIOD. Refund will not be permitted past the above refund period.
If you consider visiting the museum on April 29th or 30th, please notify your agent as such.

Tickets purchased through Sales online by LAWSON TICKET
REFUND PERIOD
February 15th ～ March 31st, 2020 (Tickets reserved for January 22nd ~ March 30th)
Purchasers of tickets dated February 25th to March 30th, 2020 will automatically receive a refund and there is no need to contact customer support of Lawson.

※ Please note that the refund will be issued to the credit card used to make the purchase and may take several days to complete. Your patience is appreciated.
Tickets purchased at LAWSON Convenience Stores in Japan
