Due to safety concerns and public transport suspension related to the approach of Typhoon Hagibis (19th typhoon), the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka will be closed on Saturday October 12th.
Visitors holding tickets reserved for October 12th will be able to use their tickets on another day of their choice or request for a refund.
Normal Operations on Sunday, October 13th
The Ghibli Museum, Mitaka will be open during the normal hours of operation on Sunday, October 13th. Public transport disruption is expected therefore the museum will allow October 13th ticket holders to enter regardless of the entry time designated on the tickets. Visitors holding tickets reserved for October 13th will be able to use their tickets on another day of their choice or request for a refund.
＜For those who wish to use ticket(s) on a replacement date＞
Visitors may use their October 12th or 13th tickets on a replacement date of their choice without advance reservation. Please present the tickets to the museum staff at the entrance on the day of visit.
Note: This offer is valid on any museum operating day until March 31, 2020. Please refer to the museum calendar for details. Please adhere to the same entry time on the October 12th or 13th ticket. Please safeguard your tickets until the replacement date. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
